Part of a long and narrow blade made from obsidian. It was found in 2007 during the Makrygiannis plot excavation, in the wider area of the kilns ΝΜΑ 24 and ΝΜΑ 25.
Obsidian was a hard volcanic rock with black colour, that was used mainly during the Neolithic period, but also during the Bronze Age to make sharp weapons and tools, such as blades, arrow heads, sicles, saws and knifes.
